The Fortnite x The Simpsons live event and Springfield season launched on November 1, 2025, and have ended. The collaboration brought an 80-player Springfield Battle Royale island, Simpsons-themed rewards and weapons, and a series of animated shorts. The newer development is Disney’s June 2026 announcement of a Simpsons creator toolkit for Fortnite; it was expected later in 2026, but Disney did not give an exact release date.
What happened at the Fortnite x The Simpsons live event?
Epic scheduled the Springfield event for Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11 a.m. ET (8 a.m. PT). That event is over. GameSpot reported at the time that the season update was planned for around 5 p.m. ET after maintenance, while cautioning that the timing could change. These were historical launch plans, not current event times. GameSpot’s October 31, 2025 schedule report covered the contemporaneous timing.
What did the Simpsons update include?
Springfield Island Battle Royale
Epic described Springfield Island as an 80-player, fast-paced, back-to-basics Battle Royale experience. The island was the season’s central Simpsons-themed setting. Epic’s November 1, 2025 launch announcement introduced the island and the season.
Springfield Battle Pass and weapons
The season included a Springfield Battle Pass with premium reward outfits featuring Homer, Marge, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely. Epic also said Simpsons-themed weapons appeared in Delulu. The announcement describes those season features; it does not establish that the pass or its rewards remain available now.

Can players still claim the Simpsons rewards?
No. The account-linking offer for the Kang and Kodos Glider required linking Epic and MyDisney accounts. Epic later extended its original February 28, 2026 deadline to April 29, 2026 Eastern Time; that extended deadline has passed. The Twitch Drop for The Siiimpsooooons… Wrap also expired: it required at least 30 cumulative minutes watching Fortnite-category streams during the specified November 1–2, 2025 window. Epic’s announcement and its reward deadline update contain the offer details.
What is the new Simpsons creator toolkit announcement?
On June 17, 2026, Disney announced that The Simpsons was joining Fortnite’s IP Partner Program. Disney said an official toolkit was expected later in 2026, giving Fortnite creators access to characters, locations, and assets prepared for Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). The announcement gave no exact release date and does not confirm that the toolkit is available. Check for a later official Epic or Disney announcement before relying on its availability or creator rules. Disney’s June 17, 2026 announcement describes the plan.

Those are figures reported by Disney, not independently audited figures established here. Disney also said the launch animated short reached No. 1 on Disney+ Top 10 Today in the US; that is Disney’s ranking claim. Disney’s announcement gives both figures.
