When did Fortnite Festival Season 10 start?
Epic announced Season 10 on August 25, 2025, and said the Gorillaz Icons would make their Festival debut on August 26. The announcement framed the season around the band and a newly designed Main Stage. Epic’s Season 10 announcement described the setting as an urban environment with towering buildings, a street train and graffiti.

Which Gorillaz characters were in Fortnite Festival?
The four featured Icons were Noodle, 2D, Russel Hobbs and Murdoc Niccals. Epic’s announcement also included a promotional line attributed to Murdoc about the House of Kong exhibition: “an exhibition like no other.” That is fictional-character dialogue in Epic’s copy, not an independent description of the exhibition.
What changed in Season 10 gameplay?
Epic announced several interface and play updates for August 26. These were season changes listed by the publisher, not a guarantee of how every player or setup would experience them.

- “Good” note feedback: Notes played slightly early or late could receive clearer “Good” feedback, with an option to turn that feedback off.
- Lift-note cues: Epic redesigned the indicators and added an option to disable their connectors.
- Library sorting: Players could sort the Main Stage song library by duration or intensity.
- Guitar-controller tune-up: Players could strum during tune-up to test and calibrate a guitar controller. Epic did not identify a supported hardware model, so this update is not evidence that any particular third-party controller is compatible.
A guitar controller was not established as a requirement. Epic Support describes Festival as “a music-based rhythm experience in Fortnite,” with play options that do not depend on owning specialized hardware. Epic’s Fortnite Festival support page says players can play solo or with up to three others.
What was in the Season 10 Music Pass?
Epic announced a mix of premium cosmetics and music alongside free rewards. The premium pass was priced at 1,400 V-Bucks or available through Fortnite Crew, and Epic said XP earned in any Fortnite experience could progress it. Russel’s outfit was set to unlock immediately with pass purchase or Crew access; Murdoc’s outfit was the final premium reward. The announced items also included Russel’s Drums, Murdoc’s Bass, accessories and Jam Tracks.

How do Festival’s Main Stage and Jam Stage differ?
Festival has two distinct modes. The Main Stage is for performing licensed songs and Fortnite tracks. The Jam Stage is for creating mixes with Jam Loops. The official support guide describes the broader experience and its solo or group play options.

Are Season 10 rewards available now?
Epic said Music Pass rewards were not exclusive to the pass and might be sold in the Shop at a later date. That possibility does not confirm that any particular outfit, instrument or track is currently available. The Season 10 announcement is historical; check the in-game Shop for current listings rather than assuming the pass or its limited-time tracks can still be claimed.
