Bruno Mars was the Fortnite Festival Season 9 Icon. Epic Games announced the season on June 17, 2025, and said it would begin June 18. Its Shop window and creator guidance described below belong to that 2025 season; the announcement does not establish what is available or in effect now.
What Epic announced for Season 9
Epic introduced Mars as the next Festival Icon after Sabrina Carpenter’s season, writing: “Sabrina’s leaving the door open for the next Fortnite Festival Icon… Bruno Mars!” The announcement was published June 17, 2025, one day before the season’s stated start date. Read Epic’s Season 9 announcement.
Stage and gameplay updates
The new Main Stage was described as having neon lights and a modern, angular look. Epic also announced three Festival features:
- All-time song leaderboards would return.
- Players could browse featured and owned Jam Tracks alphabetically.
- A True Random option would select Lobby Music randomly. Players who had favorited songs would hear selections only from their favorites.
World Tour items and Jam Tracks
Epic said the World Tour Bundle would enter the Shop at the start of Season 9 and remain until the season ended. Its listed contents were also to be sold individually:

What Epic told creators about Jam Track videos
For Season 9, Epic said creators could monetize VODs featuring eligible Jam Tracks during the first seven days of the season. After that period, it warned, “content creators should expect to receive monetization claims by the respective rights holders.” The eligible tracks it named were “Bonde Do Brunão,” “Die With A Smile,” and “APT.”
Epic’s post also said YouTube monetization required linking YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts, and recommended uploading videos as Unlisted or Public rather than Private. For Twitch, Epic said it could not prevent VODs or clips with those tracks from being flagged by third-party copyright detection systems and recommended disabling VODs or clips for those streams. These were Epic’s instructions for Season 9 in 2025; they do not guarantee current platform or rights-holder policy.
