Jesinta Franklin revealed a dramatic change in August 2024: she cut her brown hair into a short bob. The PerthNow report said she showed off the style in an Instagram selfie and a video of the haircut and getting glammed up.
What haircut did Jesinta Franklin get?
Franklin’s brown hair was cut into a short bob, according to PerthNow’s 30 August 2024 report. She revealed the new look in an Instagram selfie posted on Thursday, 29 August, and shared video showing the haircut and her getting glammed up.
Who styled the transformation?
The report credits hairdresser Marie Uva with styling Franklin. It reproduces Uva’s comment: “Thanks for trusting me with you big change!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.” The published wording appears to contain a grammatical error; it is retained here as quoted.
How does the bob fit Franklin’s past hairstyles?
Franklin has tried several distinct looks over the years. An ELLE retrospective published 2 July 2019 says she went from brunette hair to a bob and then a pixie cut in 2018, before later embracing platinum blonde. In November 2023, 7NEWS described a separate event look with a blunt fringe, dark-to-lighter brown ombre colour and loose waves. Those earlier appearances provide context, but they do not establish the precise cut or colour of the August 2024 bob.

The PerthNow report does not give a reason for the change, and the available coverage does not establish Franklin’s motivation. It also described her as having 369,000 Instagram followers at the time of publication; that is a dated 2024 figure, not a current count.
