What was FireAid raising money for?
The benefit was intended to support both immediate wildfire relief and longer-term work to help prevent future fires in California. The Kia Forum’s event page said contributions would be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation for “short-term relief efforts and long term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout California.”
What was announced about grants and fundraising?
In its 2025 announcement of the first grant round, FireAid estimated that the effort had raised $100 million and said $50 million would go to immediate-relief grants. Those figures describe that announcement, not a final audited total. FireAid’s grant announcement provides the organization’s figures.

A later retrospective from Netflix Tudum reported that the effort raised over $100 million. That later report is distinct from FireAid’s earlier estimate; the totals should not be treated as figures published at the same time.
