My Hero Academia Final Season led the season-ending fan poll and a separate community-rating catalog, while SPY×FAMILY Season 3 topped a preseason anticipation survey. Those results make them standout Fall 2025 picks—but they measure different audiences and do not establish a definitive worldwide ranking or most-watched series.
How the Fall 2025 anime rankings differ
Fall 2025 refers here to the October–December 2025 anime season. “Best” can mean a strong fan-poll finish, a high user score, or the show people were most eager to watch before it premiered. Those are useful but distinct signals; none alone measures worldwide viewing or objective quality.

- Season-ending poll: Anime Corner combined weekly poll performance with a final vote. Its published scores are weighted results, not percentages of all anime viewers.
- Community ratings: MyAnimePulse displays scores from its users. These are catalog ratings, not a measure of audience size, and the displayed scores can change.
- Preseason anticipation: The r/anime survey asked respondents what they were looking forward to before the season. Anticipation is not a retrospective satisfaction rating.
- Platform engagement: Netflix reports viewing on Netflix across a half-year period. Its figures do not cover other services or isolate Fall premieres.
Fall 2025’s season-ending fan-poll ranking
Anime Corner’s final ranking drew on weekly observations from October 3 through December 26, 2025, and a final poll held January 2–14, 2026. The final poll accounted for 55% of the score and weekly rankings for 45%. Anime Corner says 37,051 fans took part in voting. It separately describes the weekly-poll demographic count as 37,000 individuals, defined as unique IP addresses; those published figures refer to different counts and should not be treated as interchangeable.
| Rank | Series | Weighted score |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | My Hero Academia Final Season | 10.44% |
| 2 | SPY×FAMILY Season 3 | 5.96% |
| 3 | Gachiakuta | 5.58% |
| 4 | This Monster Wants to Eat Me | 5.02% |
| 5 | Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray Part 2 | 4.68% |
Anime Corner’s Fall 2025 results are the clearest cited end-of-season fan-poll ordering. The percentages are weighted scores; they are not a share of all anime viewers.

Highest-rated series in a community catalog
MyAnimePulse’s displayed Fall 2025 catalog puts My Hero Academia Final Season first, but its next two entries differ from Anime Corner’s poll:
| Rank | Series | Displayed community score |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | My Hero Academia Final Season | 8.71 |
| 2 | Umamusume: Cinderella Gray Part 2 | 8.67 |
| 3 | Kingdom Season 6 | 8.66 |
These are the scores displayed on the catalog page, not a fixed or independently verified measure of quality. The rating methodology was not established, and scores on the page may change. See the MyAnimePulse Fall 2025 catalog.
Rank #2
What viewers were anticipating before the season
In the r/anime preseason survey, SPY×FAMILY Season 3 ranked first among 360 respondents. The results capture that self-selected group’s expectations before the season—not an end-of-season verdict or a viewership count.
| Rank | Series | Share of survey respondents |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | SPY×FAMILY Season 3 | 62.5% |
| 2 | One-Punch Man Season 3 | 47.2% |
| 3 | Gachiakuta | 36.7% |
The r/anime survey results help explain why SPY×FAMILY Season 3 is a strong popularity pick even though it finished second in Anime Corner’s season-ending ranking.

What Netflix’s viewing figures can—and cannot—show
Netflix’s report for July–December 2025 says anime accounted for over 4% of all viewing on Netflix during that half-year. The report covers Netflix globally, not the entire anime market, and it does not isolate the Fall season. Netflix defines a “view” as total hours viewed divided by runtime.
| Netflix title in the July–December 2025 report | Reported views |
|---|---|
| DAN DA DAN Season 2 | 17 million |
| My Melody & Kuromi Season 1 | 13 million |
| SAKAMOTO DAYS Season 1 | 12 million |
| Record of Ragnarok Season 3 | 11 million |
| Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba | 11 million |
These platform-wide, half-year figures are context for anime engagement on Netflix; they do not rank Fall 2025 premieres against one another. Netflix’s second-half 2025 engagement report also explains its viewing measure.
Rank #4
Which Fall 2025 series should you start with?
- For the clearest season-ending poll leader: Start with My Hero Academia Final Season, which ranked first in both the Anime Corner poll and the MyAnimePulse catalog snapshot.
- For the strongest combination of anticipation and end-of-season poll performance: Try SPY×FAMILY Season 3, first in the preseason survey and second in Anime Corner’s final ranking.
- For a title that placed near the top both before and after the season: Consider Gachiakuta, third in the preseason survey and third in Anime Corner’s final ranking.
- For a high community score in the catalog snapshot: Umamusume: Cinderella Gray Part 2 and Kingdom Season 6 also rank highly on MyAnimePulse.
These are different kinds of recommendations, not a universal top-three: choose based on whether you value end-of-season fan votes, community scores, or pre-season buzz.

Crunchyroll’s Fall 2025 announcement listed Gachiakuta, My Hero Academia Final Season, One-Punch Man Season 3, and SPY×FAMILY Season 3. Its announcement gave regional availability details for Gachiakuta, but a seasonal lineup is historical and does not guarantee that any title is currently available in your country. A related way to continue the leading franchise
If My Hero Academia Final Season sends you back to the franchise, the manga is a separate way to continue or revisit its story. VIZ lists My Hero Academia manga volumes, including Volume 1; a manga volume is not a purchase of the anime season, and edition and marketplace availability can vary.
See VIZ’s listing for My Hero Academia, Volume 1 and its release calendar for publisher information.
