Disney announced the 2024 festival for April 26 through August 4, describing a celebration across the resort’s theme parks, hotels, and Downtown Disney District. The announcement promised colorful décor, themed menus, commemorative merchandise, and experiences inspired by Pixar stories and friendship. What entertainment was at each park?
Disney California Adventure: Better Together and Club Pixar
The new daytime parade, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!, featured colorful floats, dancing, and more than two dozen Pixar characters. Disney’s guide described it as scheduled twice daily, but showtimes were date-specific. Featured moments included Red Panda Mei with 4*Town; Joe Gardner and 22; Luca, Alberto, and Giulia; and a finale with characters from The Incredibles, Coco, Monsters, Inc., and Toy Story.
Hollywood Backlot hosted Club Pixar. During the day, the space offered Pixar-themed backdrops, games, and possible character encounters. Its nighttime version was an interactive DJ dance party with live performances, games, photo opportunities, themed food, and specially created beverages.

Disneyland Park: Together Forever and Pixar Pals Playtime Party
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular returned with new scenes from Onward, Soul, Luca, Turning Red, and Elemental. The show also included earlier moments such as Miguel playing guitar and Carl and Ellie’s house floating above Sleeping Beauty Castle. Disney described projections, lasers, music, and viewing locations that included Rivers of America, “it’s a small world,” and Main Street, U.S.A. Fireworks appeared on most evenings, not every night. Showtimes and details were available through Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app during the event.
At Fantasyland Theatre, Pixar Pals Playtime Party gave families a daytime activity area with dancing, games, photo locations, film-inspired activities, and selected Pixar shorts on a large screen.
