Prime Video lists “The Handoff” on January 27, 2026. The announced start time was 6 p.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday, January 27. The official US season page shows January 27, while a localized listing shows January 28; check the date in your own regional Prime Video catalog rather than assuming every location uses the same calendar date. Prime Video’s Season 2 page lists the episode and its 51-minute runtime.

Why did the release date and time change?
The episode had previously been scheduled for January 28 at 12 a.m. Pacific Time. A revised announcement moved it six hours earlier, to 6 p.m. on January 27 in Pacific Time. ComingSoon reported the change on January 26, 2026, reproducing a statement from Fallout’s official account on X:
“Good morning, Vault Dwellers! Due to strong participation and interest, we have amended the start times for the remaining Season Two presentations. Episode Seven will now begin Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. PT, and Episode Eight will now begin Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. PT. Your punctuality is appreciated!”

What time should viewers outside the Pacific time zone check?
The confirmed announcement gives the start time in Pacific Time, not a worldwide schedule. Since regional Prime Video catalogs may show a different local calendar date, use the episode listing in your own catalog to confirm availability where you watch. The sources cited here do not establish exact local start times for every country.

What comes after “The Handoff”?
Season 2 has eight episodes. Prime Video lists the finale, “The Strip,” for February 3, 2026, on its US season page. The revised announcement reported by ComingSoon set Episode 8 to begin at 6 p.m. Pacific Time that day.
