What do the teaser and main trailers show?
Teaser PV: March 12, 2024
The first announcement included a teaser visual and teaser PV featuring Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, and Wendy. General director Shinji Ishihira described his long connection to the characters as: “やはり長い年月関わってるからか、家族のような友人のような感覚。” This means approximately, “Perhaps because I’ve been involved for so many years, they feel like family or friends”; that English wording is a translation, not an official English quote. Main PV: June 7, 2024
The official site released a main PV on June 7. The announcement named Da-iCE’s “Story” as the opening theme and Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora’s “Tomoyo, Koko de Sayonara da” as the ending theme. Official main PV announcement

Is 100 Years Quest a sequel to Fairy Tail?
Yes. It is the direct anime sequel to Fairy Tail, adapting the manga sequel written by Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda, serialized in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket. In the story, Natsu and the Fairy Tail party travel to the northern continent of Guiltina to attempt the legendary 100 Years Quest, a mission that no one had completed in more than a century.
