Spoilers: the June 19, 2024 answers
The four groups and their words are:
- Yellow — POSITIONS IN FAVOR: AYE, FOR, PRO, YEA.
- Green — GO OUT WITH: COURT, DATE, SEE, WOO.
- Blue — MULTITUDE: DROVE, HOST, PACK, SEA.
- Purple — THINGS READ IN DIVINATION: AURA, PALM, TAROT, TEA.

Why some words can feel like they fit more than one group
Connections gives players 16 words and asks them to find four groups of four with a shared link. Each group is assigned a color, from yellow (easiest) to purple (trickiest). The New York Times says the puzzle is designed so words can plausibly fit multiple categories, even though each puzzle has exactly one solution. In this set, the hints point toward the intended relationship; the exact groupings above resolve the overlaps.

Playing the game and finding the archive
The daily puzzle is released at midnight in the player’s timezone and is available on NYTimes.com and in NYT apps. The Times says its Connections archive reaches back to June 12, 2023 and is available to All Access and Games subscribers. The help page does not specifically confirm whether puzzle #374 is currently available to every account or reader.
