What he has shared publicly is a set of occasional snapshots and interview remarks—not a complete picture of his children’s lives.
Who are Chris Pratt’s four children?
Pratt’s children are Jack, Lyla, Eloise, and Ford. Jack is his son with Anna Faris; Lyla, Eloise, and Ford are his children with Katherine Schwarzenegger. Reports in 2023 and 2024 named Jack, Lyla, and Eloise, while a March 2026 report identified Ford as the youngest child.
Ages mentioned below belong to the dates of the reports or interviews, not to the present. They are included only where those sources supplied them.
The anecdotes and comments he has shared
Lyla complimented his outfit
In an April 2023 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Pratt recalled Lyla complimenting his clothes: “Oh Daddy, it’s a cute outfit. Look, you have little cute pockets.” He added of Jack, “That’s not something Jack ever said to me.” Access identified Jack as 10, Lyla as 2, and Eloise as 10 months old at the time. It was a small story about a particular exchange, not evidence of a broader difference between girls and boys. Access, April 6, 2023

He described different play preferences—and added a caveat
In an interview reported by The Independent on May 16, 2024, Pratt said his daughters were more interested in stories than wrestling and were less keen on roughhousing. He prefaced a comment about gender by saying, “I hate to make generalisations based on gender but, in my experience, girls are more emotional.” He also said, “But even the differences between my two daughters just goes to show that every child is a little bit different.” The second remark is important context: these were his personal observations about his own children, not a general rule about children. The Independent, May 16, 2024
A breakfast photo of three siblings
Access reported that Pratt shared an Instagram Story on January 10, 2024, showing Jack, Lyla, and Eloise at a kitchen table. Its caption was “Breakfast is served!” The post offered a brief glimpse of a family moment; it does not establish the family’s routine or household arrangements. Access, January 2024
What he said about movies and screens
In a March 18, 2026 report about Pratt’s appearance on Today, Just Jared quoted him saying that his five-, three-, and one-year-old children had not seen movies at that time. He explained: “Katherine is very old-school when it comes to screens and technology and all of that stuff. So, we’re waiting.” This describes what he said about the younger children then; it is not a permanent policy or a statement about Jack. Just Jared, March 18, 2026
On structure and accountability
A 2025 E! News report described Pratt reflecting that creating structure and holding a child accountable can feel thankless when that child is not biologically yours. The report does not establish a specific family conflict or private parenting arrangement, so the remark is best understood as a general reflection he shared rather than a description of a particular incident. The reaction to a 2021 post, and Pratt’s later response
The Independent recounted a 2021 Instagram post in which Pratt called a daughter “gorgeous” and “healthy.” The outlet reported that critics connected that wording to Jack’s premature birth. In a 2022 Men’s Health interview, Pratt said the reaction upset him and that he worried Jack might read the coverage. These are attributed accounts of the criticism and Pratt’s response; they do not establish his intent or speak for Jack or Faris. The Independent, May 16, 2024

Together, Pratt’s comments give a dated, limited view: an outfit compliment, his account of play preferences, a breakfast post, remarks about screens, and a reflection on parenting. They do not provide a comprehensive account of his children’s personalities, their private lives, or their own perspectives. The clearest way to read them is as individual anecdotes and statements, tied to the interviews and posts in which he shared them.
