UPDATE describes the canned drink as caffeine-free and powered by paraxanthine; the company also says it contains zero sugar and zero calories. The brand’s advertised effects, including smoother energy and focus, are company claims rather than independently verified results.
What is UPDATE?
UPDATE is a ready-to-drink canned beverage marketed as an alternative to conventional caffeine-based energy drinks. Its website describes the product as caffeine-free, zero sugar, and zero calories. The campaign page displays 300 mg of paraxanthine, a formulation figure stated by the brand, not an independent measurement. UPDATE’s campaign page lists Peach and Mandarin, along with a 12-can variety pack.
The company says paraxanthine is produced when the body metabolizes caffeine. UPDATE uses it as the drink’s featured active ingredient and positions it as a source of energy and focus without caffeine. That description explains the company’s product concept; it does not establish that the drink produces particular effects for all consumers.
What is Kim Kardashian’s role?
In a February 24, 2026 announcement hosted by BevNET, UPDATE named Kardashian a co-founder. The announcement describes her work as involving brand building, product design, and consumer insight. The current campaign page also identifies her as “Co-Founder · 2026.” The BevNET announcement attributes the relaunch partnership to the company.

- TRY BEFORE A FULL PACKAGE: Compare both Liquid Energy flavors before choosing a full 24-count package.
The campaign page uses Kardashian’s line, “I built what I needed. Turns out everyone needed it too.” That is campaign copy, not evidence that the drink meets a universal need or delivers a proven health or performance benefit.
What ingredients and flavors does the brand list?
The company story discusses enfinity® paraxanthine, GeniusPure® Alpha-GPC, L-theanine, and vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin. The site’s pages describe the brand’s formulation, but do not establish that every listed ingredient appears in every flavor or SKU. Check the current can label for the specific product before relying on an ingredient list. The company story provides the brand’s ingredient descriptions.

The relaunch page lists Peach and Mandarin and a variety pack; the company FAQ is for Berry. Flavor and product-page listings can change, so the live product page and package are the best references for what is currently offered. UPDATE’s FAQ describes the Berry product and the company’s caffeine-free positioning.
Are the energy and focus claims independently established?
No independent clinical findings are established by the sources cited here. UPDATE markets the drink around energy, focus, and avoiding jitters or a crash. The company story quotes Kardashian saying, “UPDATE gives me clean energy without the jitters or crash—just clarity, focus and balance.” This is her first-person endorsement as co-founder, not independent evidence that consumers will experience those effects.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where is UPDATE available?
The relaunch announcement said more than 4,000 Walmart stores were planned to carry UPDATE beginning March 1, 2026. That was a company-announced rollout plan, not confirmation of inventory in every store. The campaign page names Walmart, Wegmans, and H-E-B among its retail channels. Check the retailer or brand listing for current availability at a specific location.
