What did the email reportedly say?
International Business Times UK reported on March 7, 2026, that an email identified as EFTA02536742 was included in Dataset 11 of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Epstein-file release. According to the report, Richard Kahn forwarded Jeffrey Epstein a New York Post article about Daniels’ claim on January 17, 2018. The subject line referred to the claim that Trump said she reminded him of Ivanka, and the email reportedly contained no accompanying comment.

That account is secondary reporting, not a direct examination of the email here. The DOJ hosts an Epstein Library and related disclosures, but its archive notice says some material may not be electronically searchable and search results may be unreliable. The specific record, its headers and full metadata were not directly opened for this account.
What did Stormy Daniels say?
In a 2018 CNN interview, Daniels said Trump told her, “You remind me of my daughter.” This is Daniels recounting what she says was said during an encounter; the transcript establishes that she made the statement in the interview, not independently that the encounter or conversation happened. Does the email prove Trump said it?
No. As reported, the email forwarded an article covering Daniels’ claim. Forwarding coverage shows that the article was sent to Epstein; it is not independent corroboration of the claim inside it. The reported email and Daniels’ interview are distinct records with different evidentiary value.
The distinction matters: the email is described through a news report, while the interview transcript documents Daniels making an allegation. Neither, on its own, independently verifies the alleged conversation.
