The Game Awards 2024 paired its annual awards with a broad slate of game reveals, trailers and updates. Astro Bot led the winners with four awards, including Game of the Year; headline reveals included The Witcher 4, an Okami sequel and Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
The show took place on December 12, 2024, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The roundup below follows the announcement sequence in GameSpot’s contemporaneous gallery, which covers the pre-show through the final reveal. Not every entry was a brand-new game: the program also included gameplay trailers, an update date and a character reveal.
What was announced at The Game Awards 2024?
The list distinguishes new projects from footage or news about games already announced. GameSpot’s gallery is a secondary roundup; The Game Awards’ official archive separately highlights The Witcher 4, the Okami sequel and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

- One Move Away: a first-person moving-and-packing game from Ramage Games and Playstack.

- Fumito Ueda’s project: a brief teaser for an untitled game, referred to as Project Robot in the roundup.
- Split Fiction: Hazelight Studios’ cooperative adventure follows two writers whose stories span science fiction and fantasy.
- Steel Hunters: Wargaming’s multiplayer mech game.
- Borderlands 4: Gearbox showed the first gameplay trailer.
- Tekken 8: Clive Rosfield was revealed as a character for the game’s first-year character pass; this was a character reveal, not a new game announcement.

- Project Century: Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio showed gameplay from an action game set in Japan in 1915.
- Turok: Origins: a new Turok project from Saber Interactive and Universal.
