On March 6, 2024, he announced deeds to individual bricks in Chief’s, paired with digital collectibles intended to connect fans with exclusive content and fan-club perks. A later support page says collectibles are currently available only to Premium Church Choir members, subject to limited availability.
What Eric Church announced for Church Choir members
In a March 6, 2024 announcement, Visit Music City described Chief’s as a revitalized six-story downtown Nashville bar, restaurant and live music venue. Church said members of his fan club, the Church Choir, received deeds to individual bricks in the building. The announcement said “tens of thousands” of fans logged in to match their deeds to the building’s physical framework; it did not give an exact count or explain how that figure was determined. Visit Music City’s announcement quoted Church: “The fans have helped me build my career brick by brick and I wanted the whole world to know.”
The deeds were for individual bricks, not the building or its underlying real estate. The announcement’s celebratory framing of Chief’s as the fans’ house should not be read as a transfer of ownership in the venue.
What the digital collectibles were meant to unlock
The 2024 launch announcement described a digital version of each brick, with access to possible exclusive content and fan-club perks. Examples included unheard demos, unreleased video footage and priority entry at Chief’s. It also described a separate “Vinyl for Life” collectible, presented as granting a first-edition vinyl of Church’s catalog and future releases, including color variants. These were benefits described at launch; the announcement does not establish that every perk remains available today.

The collectibles are linked to a Choir Account and use blockchain technology to validate membership and unlock perks. The official Digital Collectibles support article distinguishes Founder Bricks for active Premium members as of February 29, 2024, from Member Bricks for Premium members who registered afterward.
Eligibility and supply can change, so check the support page and online store before attempting to redeem one. The support information describes a membership-linked digital collectible; it does not say that the collectible conveys ownership of Chief’s.

How the two kinds of “gift” differ
| Item | What the source describes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Brick deed | A deed to an individual brick in Chief’s, announced for Church Choir members in March 2024. | Ownership of Chief’s or its underlying real estate. |
| Digital brick collectible | A digital collectible tied to a Choir Account and described as a way to validate membership and unlock perks; the current support page says availability is limited to Premium members. | That every perk listed at launch is still active or that a collectible is presently available to every member. |
| “Vinyl for Life” collectible | A launch-described collectible associated with first-edition and future Church vinyl releases, including color variants. | That buying a standard album or vinyl record gives someone this collectible. |
For the artist’s current merchandise links, including vinyl, see Eric Church’s official link hub. A record purchase is separate from the collectible and from Premium Church Choir membership.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the distinction matters
The 2024 announcement blended a symbolic physical deed with a digital fan-club mechanism. The later support page clarifies the current membership gate and redemption approach. Reading the dated descriptions separately avoids confusing the fan-focused brick gesture with legal ownership of a Nashville venue, or launch-era perks with guaranteed present-day benefits.
