Eddie Guerrero’s most significant WWE reign was his 2004 WWE Championship run, but the strongest ranking of his eight reigns also has to account for what made each one distinctive: a revived United States title, different tag-team partnerships, and two very different Intercontinental runs. This list ranks only championships Guerrero held in WWE, using championship stakes, historical context, partner and story context, and duration—not length alone.
How this ranking works
WWE’s official title histories establish the reign dates and recorded durations; they do not rank them. The order below is an editorial judgment, weighing the championship’s stakes and lineage alongside each reign’s distinctiveness and length. The scope is Guerrero’s WWE reigns only: his separate WCW and ECW championships are not included.
The eight Eddie Guerrero WWE title reigns, ranked
-
WWE Championship — February 15 to June 27, 2004 (132 days)
Guerrero’s sole WWE Championship reign takes the top spot because it was his only run with WWE’s top championship. WWE records it as lasting 132 days. WWE’s title history.
-
World Tag Team Championship with Rey Mysterio — February 20 to April 21, 2005 (59 days)
This reign ranks above the longer tag runs because the pairing with Mysterio gives it a distinct place in Guerrero’s late-career WWE story. Its significance here is the partnership and context, not its duration. WWE records the title reign under the team’s names in its World Tag Team Championship history.

-
United States Championship — July 27 to October 19, 2003 (83 days)
Guerrero was the first United States Champion of the title’s revived current WWE era, giving this reign historical weight beyond its 83 days. WWE’s title history records the dates, while its feature on the title’s return explains the lineage context: United States Championship history and WWE’s account of the title’s revival.
-
Intercontinental Championship — September 4 to November 23, 2000 (79 days)
This was Guerrero’s longer of two Intercontinental Championship reigns. Its 79-day duration puts it ahead of his later, shorter return to the title, though the ranking also reflects its place among his individual championship runs. See WWE’s Intercontinental Championship history.

WWE Tag Team Championship with Los Guerreros — September 18 to October 23, 2003 (34 days)
This was the second Los Guerreros WWE Tag Team Championship reign. Its separate dates matter: it began after Guerrero’s United States Championship victory, making it a different chapter from the team’s earlier run. WWE lists the reign in its WWE Tag Team Championship history.
-
WWE Tag Team Championship with Tajiri — May 18 to July 3, 2003 (45 days)
The partnership with Tajiri distinguishes this reign from Guerrero’s two runs with Los Guerreros. It was a 45-day reign, and its place in the ranking reflects that distinctive partner pairing rather than a claim that it outranked the Los Guerreros story in every respect. WWE’s title history records the team and dates.

WWE Tag Team Championship with Los Guerreros — November 17, 2002 to February 6, 2003 (80 days)
This was the earlier of Guerrero’s two WWE Tag Team Championship reigns with Los Guerreros, and at 80 days it was the longest of his tag-team reigns listed here. It ranks below the later Los Guerreros run as an editorial choice about the distinctiveness of that later stretch, not because its duration was shorter. WWE records the reign in its WWE Tag Team Championship history.
-
Intercontinental Championship — April 21 to May 27, 2002 (35 days)
Guerrero’s second Intercontinental reign lasted 35 days, less than half as long as his 2000 run. It rounds out the ranking as a shorter return to a singles title he had already held. WWE’s Intercontinental Championship history records the dates and duration.

What counts as a WWE title reign here?
WWE’s official profile lists Guerrero’s WWE Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and United States Champion accomplishments alongside titles from other promotions, including WCW and ECW. This ranking excludes those non-WWE championships rather than combining his entire career title record. The profile also identifies Guerrero as a 2006 WWE Hall of Fame inductee. See WWE’s Eddie Guerrero profile.
The United States title also has a lineage detail worth keeping separate from its dates: WWE says it originated in WCW, later became WWE property, and was revived in the modern WWE era. Guerrero’s 2003 reign was the first of that revived era. That context is why it ranks above several longer tag-team runs here; it does not make the ordering an official WWE judgment. WWE provides further background in its United States Championship history and revival feature.
