What was Eazy-E’s reported net worth?
On May 9, 1995, the Los Angeles Times reported that Eazy-E’s estate was valued at around $15 million. The report came while a probate judge appointed a special administrator to investigate the value of Ruthless Records. It is the clearest contemporaneous figure in the available reporting, but it describes an estate valuation during an ongoing probate process—not a definitive, audited statement of Eazy-E’s personal assets minus liabilities.
The distinction matters because the estate and Ruthless Records were connected, and the label’s value and ownership were disputed. The May report does not establish a final accounting that resolves those questions.

These numbers measure different things, come from different dates, and have different evidentiary weight. They should not be averaged into a supposed consensus. In particular, Ruthless’s reported royalties and debt describe the label’s finances, not a complete personal balance sheet.

What was happening with Ruthless Records?
The April 24, 1995 Los Angeles Times report described competing estimates of Ruthless Records’ worth, more than $1.5 million in company debts, and uncertainty amid a serious ownership dispute. It also reported about $1 million in combined annual royalty payments connected to Dr. Dre and Priority Records going to Ruthless.
Those details help explain why a label-related estate valuation could be difficult to pin down. They do not show that Eazy-E personally received that annual royalty amount, nor do they resolve the label’s eventual value or the estate’s final net worth.

Was Eazy-E worth $50 million?
In a February 29, 2016 report, VladTV attributed a $50 million estimate to Lil Eazy-E. That is a family-member estimate reported more than two decades after the probate-era coverage; the article does not show an accounting or other documentation supporting it. It is fair to report that the estimate was made, but not to present $50 million as a verified estate value.
