Donna Kelce said she was impressed by Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, calling it “probably her best work” after listening to the album on its April 19, 2024, release day. It was Kelce’s personal reaction, not a formal review or an objective ranking of Swift’s albums.
What did Donna Kelce say about Taylor Swift’s album?
“She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work,” Kelce said, according to ABC News and the Los Angeles Times. ABC News also quoted her saying, “I was just very impressed.”

Did Donna Kelce listen to the whole album?
Yes. Kelce said she listened to the full album on release day. The Los Angeles Times quoted her saying, “I listened to the whole album, and I listened to it all morning long when it was released.” ABC News reported on April 25, 2024, that Kelce had discussed the album with People earlier that week.
What was the album’s release context?
Swift released The Tortured Poets Department on April 19, 2024. ABC News described it as a surprise double album with 31 songs. That timing matters: reports calling it Swift’s “new” album refer to its April 2024 release, not to a new reaction or release in 2026.

Did Kelce confirm the songs were about Travis Kelce?
No. Kelce’s reported comments were about listening to the album and being impressed; they did not identify the subjects of particular songs. ABC News noted fan speculation about “The Alchemy” and “So High School” in connection with Travis Kelce. That remains speculation in the cited reporting, not confirmation from Donna Kelce or Taylor Swift.
