In January 2025, co-hosts of The Duck Call Room said Uncle Si Robertson was taken for medical evaluation after falling while getting out of a boat on a hunting trip in Arkansas. They said he landed on his oxygen machine, his oxygen level was low, and X-rays ruled out broken ribs. Reports said he was sent home to recover.
What happened to Uncle Si Robertson?
Justin Martin and Phillip McMillan recounted the fall on The Duck Call Room, the podcast they co-host with Robertson. Martin said Robertson fell while climbing out of the boat and landed on his oxygen machine. “He fell trying to get out of the boat. He fell on his oxygen machine but he bounced right back up,” Martin said, as quoted by The Independent.
The accounts said Robertson seemed unusually quiet afterward. According to CBN News, his oxygen level was reported as low, and he was taken to the ER for evaluation. McMillan described his reaction to hearing about the hospital visit: “My heart just dropped.”

Martin and McMillan said Robertson complained of pain and thought he might have broken ribs. The contemporaneous reports say X-rays ruled out broken ribs. CBN News reported that he received medication and was sent home to recover; The Independent reported that bruising was suspected. When did the accident happen?
The exact date of the fall was not given. Apple Podcasts lists the episode “Uncle Si Lands in the ER After a Fall” as published January 23, 2025; The Independent published its account on January 27, and CBN News followed on January 28. The reports place the fall on a recent hunting trip in Arkansas, but do not establish the calendar date.
