The event was scheduled to run through January 15, 2026, so it has ended.
Where was the EB Games Pokémon pop-up?
The event took place at Toronto’s Eaton Centre. MobileSyrup reported that the opening-weekend line drew more than 500 fans; the article qualified that attendance figure as reported, rather than presenting it as an independently verified count.
What could visitors see and do?
EB Games’ updated press release, quoted in MobileSyrup, described a space called The Collectors Vault. Its advertised features included The Legendary Wall of collectibles, rotating exclusive drops, livestreamed card pulls, photo opportunities with costumed Pokémon characters, a plush-filled claw machine, and a large machine filled with trading cards reportedly valued at $5,000. That value described the cards in the machine, not a guaranteed prize for visitors.
MobileSyrup’s reporter saw a display wall of collectibles, but characterized much of the rest of the space as a retail shop. The distinction matters: the press release outlined planned attractions, while the article’s firsthand description was more restrained.

Reported event mechanics
- According to MobileSyrup’s November 7, 2025 account, spending more than $75 gave a customer a chance to use the card pull machine. The report does not say that spending guaranteed a rare card.
- The same report said claw-machine attempts cost $3 each.
Those prices and terms describe the event as reported in November 2025; they should not be read as current offers.
How long did the pop-up run?
MobileSyrup reported that the pop-up was scheduled to run until January 15. Because the article was published on November 7, 2025, that date refers to January 15, 2026. The scheduled run has passed.

The report also said a Mega Lucario and Moltres Elite collection launch was planned for the weekend after publication. That was a November 2025 plan, not an upcoming launch. EB Games was said to expect more pop-ups across Canada, but MobileSyrup did not establish that any additional locations or dates were later confirmed.
