Yes. Dan Stevens sings “Evermore” as the Beast in Disney’s 2017 live-action Beauty and the Beast. Josh Groban also recorded “Evermore,” but his is a separate version—not the performance heard in the film.
Which Beauty and the Beast film is this about?
This answer refers to Disney’s 2017 live-action adaptation, in which Dan Stevens plays the Beast. Disney’s film overview identifies Stevens in the role.
What song does Dan Stevens sing?
Stevens performs “Evermore” in the film. The song was written for the 2017 adaptation; it was not among the songs in the 1991 animated feature. D23’s guide to the film’s songs lists “Evermore” alongside two other additions: “Days in the Sun” and “How Does a Moment Last Forever.”
“Evermore” is part of the film’s music by Alan Menken, who wrote the new songs with Tim Rice. Menken also lists the song on his official page for the 2017 film.

Why is Josh Groban also associated with “Evermore”?
There are two distinct recordings. Stevens sings the Beast’s version in the film, and Apple Music lists his recording on the motion picture soundtrack. Groban recorded a separate version associated with the soundtrack release; his official announcement identifies his contribution. The soundtrack publisher’s catalog entry also credits Groban’s version. That separate recording is why Groban’s name may appear when looking up the song, but it does not replace Stevens’s in-film performance.
