In a POPline interview published on 23 February 2019, Duda Beat spoke about reworking “Bixinho,” meeting Ivete Sangalo and preparing a new song with Mateus Carrilho and Jaloo. Her comments captured plans and expectations at that moment—not current announcements.
Why Duda Beat wanted a new version of “Bixinho”
Duda described “Bixinho” as one of the key songs on her album, Sinto Muito, and said she wanted to give it a different feel. She turned to her own producers, Lux and Tróia, to create the remix.
In the interview, she characterized the arrangement as Latin-leaning and danceable, and said she had already been performing that version at shows. Those descriptions are Duda’s own account of the track and how it worked in her live set.
The album was released on 27 April 2018, according to Apple Music’s catalog listing, which records 11 songs and a 37-minute runtime. A translucent red vinyl edition documented by NOIZE Record Club included the Lux & Tróia remix as a bonus track.

Her meeting with Ivete Sangalo and the 2019 Carnaval plan
Duda recalled meeting Ivete Sangalo in Recife, where she sang “Eva” with the singer. She said Sangalo had invited her to perform on a trio in Salvador on 4 March 2019. A separate CARAS interview published in April 2019 reported that the invitation had arrived through Instagram direct message.
The Salvador appearance was a plan discussed in February 2019. It should not be read as a current or forthcoming performance announcement.

The planned collaboration “Chega”
Duda also previewed “Chega,” a song with Mateus Carrilho and Jaloo. She said she wrote it with Tomás Tróia and hoped it would be released before Lollapalooza Brasil, where she expected to perform with the collaborators.
The POPline interview establishes what she planned in February 2019, but does not give a definitive release date for the song. Its wording is therefore best understood as an update on an anticipated collaboration, not a release announcement.

Album context: Sinto Muito
Duda Beat’s official artist page presents Sinto Muito as her debut and describes its sound as a blend of tecnobrega, pop, axé and dub. In a September 2019 conversation with NOIZE Record Club, she described her idea of pop this way: “Pop, pra mim, é você dialogar com diversos nichos, é falar com classe A, B, C, D, E e F, é falar coisas óbvias de um modo simples, é falar com várias pessoas.” In translation: “Pop, for me, is communicating with different niches, speaking to classes A, B, C, D, E and F, saying obvious things simply, speaking to many people.”
NOIZE later documented a 2023 reissue as a 12-inch, 33 rpm, 140 g translucent red LP; its product page showed the edition sold out when crawled. That listing does not establish stock at other sellers or current availability.
