Dolly Parton introduced Dolly Wines in June 2024, beginning with California Chardonnay 2023. The official brand site now lists four wines—Chardonnay, Rosé, Prosecco and Pinot Noir—with availability stated separately for the U.S. and UK. The original launch plan and today’s listings are not the same, so the date and market matter.
When did Dolly Parton launch her wine collection?
Parton introduced Dolly Wines on 7 June 2024 in collaboration with Parton Family Cellars and Accolade Wines. The announcement took place at Fan Fair X during CMA Fest in Nashville, according to IMG Licensing’s launch announcement.
Accolade Wines Chief Marketing Officer Sandy Mayo said, “Dolly herself was involved in all aspects of each wine, and we think they capture her captivating sense of fun and sparkle perfectly.” This is Mayo’s statement about the collaboration, not a direct quotation from Parton.
What was Dolly Parton’s first wine?
The first announced release was Dolly Wines California Chardonnay 2023. IMG Licensing described its profile as white peach, sweet cream and toasted oak. At launch, the wine was offered for presale through Vivino, with shipments scheduled to begin 25 June 2024 and retail availability planned for July 2024. Those dates describe the 2024 rollout, not current stock or shipping.

How does today’s lineup differ from the original announcement?
The June 2024 announcement described Chardonnay, Rosé and Prosecco as the initial range and said a fourth “Sparkling” varietal was planned for Australia in September 2024. It also planned Rosé and Prosecco for UK retailers in fall 2024. The current site instead lists Pinot Noir as the fourth wine and gives country-level availability for all four. The earlier plan should not be treated as a description of the current range or proof that the planned Australian product remains available.
