Is Gabriella Brooks’s ring really worth $150,000?
The $150,000 figure comes from Kegan Fisher, co-founder of Frank Darling, who gave PEOPLE an estimate based on photographs of the ring. It is not a disclosed amount Liam Hemsworth paid, a formal appraisal, or a verified market valuation. The ring’s maker and any grading report have not been identified in the coverage.

Brooks announced the engagement on Instagram on September 12, 2025, in a post that showed the couple, a seashore, and the ring. The Los Angeles Times reported that they were first seen together in December 2019, making the public announcement nearly six years after they were first linked. The ring had drawn attention earlier after it was photographed on Brooks’s left hand during a trip to Ibiza.

How unusual is the ring’s apparent shape?
The Knot reported that cushion-shaped stones represented 6% of engagement rings in the prior-year data covered by its 2024 Jewelry and Engagement Study.
