The announcements set out Deezer stages, emerging-artist support and fan activities, but do not establish that the sponsorship continued after 2023.
How the MITA–Deezer partnership developed
2022: sponsorship begins
Deezer announced its first MITA sponsorship in May 2022, ahead of the festival’s inaugural edition in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The company described the partnership as a way to connect artists, music and audiences. Planned elements included festival-inspired and artist-curated playlists, Deezer-selected opening performers in each city, and a track by two featured acts intended for release at the festival and exclusively on Deezer. MITA’s announced 2022 dates were May 14–15 in São Paulo and May 21–22 in Rio de Janeiro. Deezer’s May 2022 announcement
January 2023: renewal
In January 2023, Deezer announced it was renewing the sponsorship. Its plans for that edition included a Deezer stage, Deezer Next opening artists, an exclusive playlist and in-person activations for festivalgoers. The announced dates were May 27–28 in Rio de Janeiro and June 3–4 in São Paulo. Deezer’s January 2023 announcement
May 2023: master-sponsor wording
In a May 2023 announcement, Deezer explicitly described itself as MITA’s “patrocinadora master do evento”—the event’s master sponsor. It named N.I.N.A. as the Deezer Next artist opening the São Paulo event and Melly as the artist opening in Rio de Janeiro. Deezer’s May 2023 announcement

What Deezer Next added
Deezer presented Deezer Next as a program for supporting developing artists. For the 2023 MITA edition, the announced benefits included playlist promotion, participation in the event, exclusive content, social-media promotion and marketing support. The opening slots for N.I.N.A. and Melly were part of that artist-development role, rather than simply a sponsor name attached to the bill. Deezer’s May 2023 announcement
Deezer’s music editor and editorial coordinator Eduardo Ribas said the selected Deezer Next acts that year were women artists whose careers stood out for their range and strength. He described N.I.N.A. and Melly as moving across genres including rap, trap, MPB and R&B. Deezer’s May 2023 announcement

The announcements establish Deezer’s initial sponsorship in 2022 and its renewal and master-sponsor status for the 2023 edition. They do not establish a renewal after the 2023 festival, so the partnership should be described as historical unless a newer confirmation is available.
