Who won Dancing with the Stars 2025?

Did Robert Irwin get more votes than Alix Earle?
The finale result followed the tally of live audience votes, but published reporting does not disclose contestant-level vote totals or a numerical margin between Irwin and Earle. It confirms Irwin and Carson won under the combined scoring-and-voting system; it does not establish how many more votes they received than Earle and Chmerkovskiy, if any specific margin is being claimed.
ABC Audio reported that more than 72 million votes were cast during the finale. That is the overall reported vote total, not a breakdown for either pair.

How did the judges’ scores compare?
Judges’ scores alone did not determine the champion. ABC News Australia reported these final scores for the leading pairs:

What happened in the season 34 finale?
The five couples each performed a judges’ choice dance, an Instant Dance Challenge, and a freestyle during the Tuesday, November 25 finale. Irwin and Carson’s first dance was a quickstep, and their instant dance was a cha cha. ABC News’ finale report describes the performances and format.

Irwin’s victory came ten years after his sister Bindi Irwin won season 21 in 2015. After the season 34 win, Robert said, “My sister said it best: Thank you for changing my life.” ABC News Australia noted the sibling milestone, and ABC News reported his post-win remark.
