What is known about Dave Scott’s death
TVLine’s June 18, 2025 report said Scott had died at 52 and quoted a statement shared by his family through his Instagram account. The New York Times obituary by Alex Williams, republished by The Salt Lake Tribune on July 4, reported that Scott died June 16 in Las Vegas. The Television Academy’s profile instead lists June 30, 2025, as his passing date, so the exact date is not consistent across the sources.
TVLine said no cause of death was shared with the announcement. The sources cited here do not establish a cause, so none should be inferred.
