On July 14, 2025, Azealia Banks posted images and screenshots on X that she attributed to Conor McGregor, accusing him of sending unwanted explicit pictures and messages. The material was not independently authenticated in the contemporaneous reporting, so the posts establish what Banks alleged—not that McGregor sent the images.

What did Azealia Banks allege?

Banks posted the material on X on July 14, 2025, which was McGregor’s birthday. She described the alleged messages as unwanted and accused him of sexual harassment, according to Just Jared’s July 14 report and NME’s July 15 report.

The Journal later reported that Banks said she and McGregor had exchanged unsolicited nude images since 2016. That, too, is Banks’s account; the available reports do not independently verify the alleged exchanges.

Are the images and messages confirmed as authentic?

No. The contemporaneous coverage said the images and messages had not been independently confirmed as authentic. Banks attributed them to McGregor, but the screenshots alone do not establish who sent them or the circumstances in which they were created. Just Jared and The Standard’s July 16 coverage both noted that the alleged material was unconfirmed.

Did Conor McGregor respond?

The Journal reported that McGregor had not commented on Banks’s posts as of its July 2025 publication. That is a time-specific account, not confirmation of whether he made a statement later. No verified on-record response from McGregor appears in the cited coverage.

What happened to the posts on X?

The Journal reported that X removed the original photos. That report concerns the original images on the platform; it does not establish whether copies or screenshots circulated elsewhere, or why the posts were removed.

What is established—and what remains alleged?

  • Established by contemporaneous reporting: Banks posted images and screenshots on X on July 14, 2025, and publicly attributed them to McGregor.
  • Alleged by Banks: She said the material reflected unwanted messages and described the conduct as sexual harassment; she later claimed exchanges had occurred since 2016.
  • Not independently established in the cited reporting: Whether McGregor sent the images or messages, whether the screenshots are authentic, and the context of any alleged exchange.
  • Reported at a specific time: The Journal said the original photos had been removed from X and that McGregor had not commented by the time of its article.

The Standard discussed legal questions raised by unwanted sexual images, but that secondary coverage does not determine what happened in this case or establish a jurisdiction-specific legal conclusion. The allegation should not be treated as a legal finding.
