Disney+ offers selected stereoscopic 3D movies through its visionOS app on Apple Vision Pro. Disney’s February 2024 launch list contained 42 entries, including a Spanish-language listing of Coco; the company later announced four more Marvel films. That makes 46 documented entries, but not 46 guaranteed to be available everywhere today. For the live catalog, check the app’s 3D Collection: titles can vary by country and over time.
Scope: This is the list in Disney’s published announcements, not a live audit of the app. Availability has not been independently checked for August 2026.
Disney+ 3D movies documented for Apple Vision Pro
Disney’s list of 42 entries was published on February 2, 2024. The list includes both Coco and Coco en Español; the latter is an alternate-language listing, not a separate movie. Disney announced four additional Marvel titles on August 5, 2024. The combined list below records those announcements, but should not be read as a guarantee that every title is currently available in every region.

How to find and play a 3D movie
- Put on Apple Vision Pro and open the App Store for Apple Vision Pro.
- Download the Disney+ app for visionOS, open it, and sign in.
- In Disney+, select the 3D Collection icon in the navigation bar.
- Choose a film and check that its title is offered in 3D before playback. Searching for the film in Disney+ can be a quicker way to find it, but the collection is the clearest place to check for 3D availability.
Disney presents 3D as a feature for Disney+ subscribers using Apple Vision Pro; its cited support information does not say a separate 3D add-on is required. Do not confuse this with Hulu access within the app, which depends on having a bundle plan that includes the relevant Hulu tier. Disney says downloads are limited to qualifying Premium plans.
Follow Disney’s Apple Vision Pro help page for current app instructions. Interface details may change, and a film appearing in Disney+ search does not by itself establish that a 3D version is available.

Picture quality: UHD and 48 fps are title-specific
Disney says some Vision Pro 3D titles are available in Ultra High Definition, and certain titles support 48 frames per second. These features do not apply to every film. Look for the relevant UHD or 48-fps indicator in the app, and use fully immersive mode for compatible UHD 48 content, as Disney recommends.
Launch-era reporting described Disney’s Vision Pro 3D delivery as using Dolby Vision, MV-HEVC, and UHD HDR, with high-frame-rate support for some films. Those launch specifications are not a promise that every title today has the same format or quality. A title’s available version can also depend on the current catalog and region. Catalog, country, and language limits
The 3D catalog is not simply the regular Disney+ catalog in another format. Disney’s support documentation says 3D availability is specific to Apple Vision Pro, and the titles available while traveling depend on the country where you are. A film may be available in 2D on a TV, phone, tablet, or browser without its 3D version being available there—or in the local Vision Pro catalog. A theatrical or Blu-ray 3D release does not guarantee a Disney+ 3D version.
Language options can differ too. Disney says that when a 3D version is available only in English, the video remains English 3D while audio and subtitles follow the selected language where supported. Check the title’s playback options rather than assuming the 3D video itself is localized. Disney’s Vision Pro guidance covers travel and language behavior; its video-quality help page notes the device-specific nature of some 3D content.

If a title plays in 2D or the 3D option is missing
- Check the collection: Confirm that the film appears in the Disney+ 3D Collection. If it does not, the issue may be catalog or regional availability rather than the headset.
- Check the app and location: Update the Disney+ visionOS app and check that your account’s country and current location support the title.
- Check the copy you are playing: Try streaming the title instead of opening an older download that may be a 2D version.
- Review the 3D setting: In Disney+, go to App Settings > Video Playback and check the Watch in 3D toggle. Turning it off switches playback to 2D; make sure it is enabled when you want 3D.
- Address buffering: Disney recommends reducing data-usage settings if streaming buffers. Downloading and playing the title from Downloads is another option when your plan and the title allow it.
- Refresh the app: If the 3D toggle is missing, restarting Disney+ and Vision Pro is a practical next step; Disney does not list this as a guaranteed fix.

Disney+ suits viewers who already subscribe and want access to the titles currently offered in its 3D collection. Access is subscription-based and catalog-dependent; it is not permanent ownership of a film. Apple TV Store purchases are a separate route for people who want selected movies in their library. Apple says qualifying HD or 4K movies bought through its store can be upgraded to 3D at no additional cost when a 3D version is available. Purchases made through Movies Anywhere, Vudu, or similar services do not receive that Apple upgrade, though they may remain playable in 2D. See Apple’s 3D movie guidance.
