Is the White Lotus hotel in Thailand a real hotel?
Yes. Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is a real resort in Thailand and one of the principal locations used for Season 3 of The White Lotus. Warner Bros. Discovery’s Season 3 filming-location list assigns the Ratliff family villa, Rick and Chelsea’s room, and several restaurants, pool, beach, paths, gym and boxing-ring settings to the resort. The list also names other properties, so not every scene in the Thailand season was filmed at Four Seasons Koh Samui.
Why there is no universal nightly rate
Four Seasons does not publish a static rate table for the accommodations described on its official site. Its rates vary by arrival date and length of stay, and the amount you pay also depends on availability, villa category, guest count, eligible offers and applicable taxes or charges. The official rate terms say rates are per room, per night and may or may not include mandatory property fees, service charges, gratuities or government-imposed taxes. Check the final booking total rather than treating a room-rate figure as the full cost.
Use the resort’s accommodations page and date-specific “Check Rates” booking flow to price your actual trip. There is no supported universal answer to which season is cheapest; compare live rates for the dates you can travel.

What changes the price you see?
- Dates and length of stay: Rates vary by arrival date and stay duration, and inventory can change.
- Accommodation and view: The official page lists 14 options across villas, specialty villas and private residences, with differences in size, capacity and features such as private infinity pools.
- Occupancy and children: Check the stated capacity and child policy for the exact accommodation. Four Seasons says it charges no additional fee for children under 18 sharing a room with parents or guardians, space permitting; the Family Villa is described for children ages 0–12.
- Included benefits: Breakfast or other offer benefits may affect the value of a rate, but check their exact scope and eligibility.
- Taxes, fees and terms: Compare the full amount due, prepayment requirements, and change and cancellation conditions.

Official offers to check for 2026 and 2027 stays
Advance Purchase
As of October 8, 2026, Four Seasons’ official offers page advertises up to 20% off the room rate on selected dates. The offer requires booking at least seven days ahead and includes daily buffet breakfast for two guests per bedroom. It is fully prepaid and non-refundable, changes are not permitted, and cancellations, no-shows or early departures are not refunded. The published selected-date periods include September 10–December 23, 2026, and January 15–December 15, 2027. Blackout dates, availability and other restrictions apply; confirm the terms shown for your dates before booking.
Experience More
The official Experience More offer lists a USD 200 resort-experience credit per villa stay for selected periods. The credit cannot be used toward the room rate, retail purchases, taxes, fees or service charges. Treat it as a potential on-property benefit rather than a reduction in the room price, and verify eligibility and current terms in the booking flow.

- Enter your arrival and departure dates, the number of adults and children, and the children’s ages.
- Compare suitable villas or residences, noting capacity, included breakfast and any offer restrictions.
- Review the full stay total and identify taxes, service charges or other fees that may be added or excluded from the displayed room rate.
- Before paying, read the rate’s prepayment, change, cancellation and early-departure rules.
If you need access before the standard check-in time, Four Seasons lists check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM; the resort says booking the previous night guarantees immediate room access.
