Belmont’s 2026 Kidz Fest is scheduled for Saturday 14 November at Faulkner Park—not Garvey Park, Ascot. The City of Belmont lists the main festival from 11am to 6pm, with a separate, ticketed Sensory Accessible Session from 9am to 11am. The event is after the published 2026 National Children’s Week dates, 24 October to 1 November.
When and where is Belmont Kidz Fest in 2026?
The City of Belmont’s current Kidz Fest event page lists the festival for Saturday 14 November 2026 at Faulkner Park. Garvey Park, Fauntleroy Avenue, Ascot, was the venue for the previous edition documented in the City’s October 2025 bulletin: Kidz Fest took place there on Saturday 15 November 2025, from 11am to 6pm. That earlier listing does not describe the 2026 venue.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the 2026 event part of National Children’s Week?
The Children’s Week Council of Australia lists National Children’s Week 2026 as running from 24 October to 1 November, with the theme “Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.” Kidz Fest is listed for 14 November, outside those dates. The City’s council record notes that the 2024 event was rescheduled to October to align with Children’s Week; that historical change does not establish a 2026 connection.
