At the request of Chiquis’s sister Jacqie, Marín prayed for the marriage while Chiquis and her sisters listened. Jacqie had brought Chiquis the phone shortly before the ceremony.

People en Español reports that Chiquis was nervous but happy to hear her father’s voice and became tearful during the call.
