Cody Rhodes plays the bartender in The Naked Gun (2025). In the trailer scene described by USA Insider, Liam Neeson’s Frank Drebin Jr. slams the bartender’s face against a bar during an interrogation—then Rhodes appears with oversized Groucho Marx-style eyebrows. That unexpected visual change is the punchline.
What happens in Cody Rhodes’s scene?
USA Insider’s June 17, 2025 account describes Rhodes standing across a bar from Frank Drebin Jr. Drebin grabs the back of the bartender’s head and smashes his face against the bar as he interrogates him. When Rhodes looks up again, his face appears normal, but he has conspicuous, Groucho Marx-style eyebrows.
The eyebrows turn a rough interrogation beat into an absurd sight gag: the scene presents an exaggerated visual change instead of a realistic consequence. The account describes a trailer scene; it does not establish whether every detail appears the same way in the film’s final cut.
Who does Cody Rhodes play?
Paramount Global Content’s cast listing credits Rhodes as the “Bartender.” USA Insider’s earlier trailer report said the character had no name at that point. The official listing identifies the role, but does not give the bartender a personal name.
