Netflix’s Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2 trailer arrived on October 23, 2024, ahead of the five-episode batch’s November 15 premiere. It previews the Sekai Taikai, the international karate tournament in Barcelona, where Miyagi-Do faces new opponents, old enemies and strains within its own team. Season 6 is now complete: all three parts, totaling 15 episodes, are available on Netflix.
When did the Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2 trailer come out?
Netflix published the official trailer on October 23, 2024. It was a trailer for the second part of the show’s sixth and final season—not an announcement of a new season. Part 2 premiered November 15, 2024, with five episodes.
The trailer’s original “biggest, most action-packed” framing is an editorial superlative, not a measured comparison. The available sources do not establish a viewership figure or other metric proving it was the show’s biggest trailer.
What does the trailer show?
The story moves to Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai, a global karate tournament. Netflix’s official trailer description sets out the central tension: “At the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do faces new challenges and old enemies as they battle to become world champions – can they stay united as internal rivalries bubble back to the surface?”

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That premise makes the tournament more than a succession of matches. The team must contend with outside competition and past adversaries while handling rivalries among its own students and senseis. The trailer’s emphasis is on those competing pressures and the stakes of fighting for the world championship.
How Part 2 fits into Cobra Kai’s final season
Netflix released Season 6 in three parts rather than as one full-season drop. Part 2’s five episodes were the middle installment; the season as a whole contains 15 episodes. The final five arrived on February 13, 2025, as a finale event, completing the series’ sixth season.
