Kristin Cabot’s first public interview about the viral Coldplay concert video was published by The New York Times on December 18, 2025. She acknowledged acting inappropriately with her boss, then-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, and described the professional and personal consequences. Both later resigned from Astronomer.

Coldplay singer Chris Martin joked, “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy. I’m not quite sure.” That remark was a spontaneous joke about their reaction, not evidence establishing what their private relationship was. ABC News
