Celebrity couples have met while making feature films, television shows and music videos—but meeting on set is not the same as starting to date during production. These examples distinguish the first reported meeting from later dating and relationship milestones. They are selected stories, not a complete or ranked list.
What “met on set” means
Here, “set” includes a feature-film production, a television show and a music-video shoot. The examples span all three, and the accounts do not always establish that a romance began during filming. In some cases, the pair met first and started dating months or years later.

How to read these stories
- A meeting is not a dating date. Gellar and Prinze Jr. reportedly waited until 2000 to begin dating after meeting on a film set; Danes and Dancy began dating after filming.
- Not every example has the same kind of source detail. The cited entertainment roundups provide selected anecdotes and timelines, not a consistent dataset of first meetings, dating dates or relationship outcomes.
- Historical milestones are not current-status evidence. A past account of a marriage or relationship does not establish whether it continues today. No present-tense status is asserted here.
- On-screen chemistry does not establish an off-screen cause. These reports identify work settings and relationship timelines; they do not prove that fictional pairings or filming itself caused a relationship.
