Para Catherine Siachoque, lo más duro de interpretar a doña Hilda en Sin senos sí hay paraíso fue llorar una y otra vez durante las grabaciones. La actriz contó que tenía que llorar casi a diario, que a veces le dolía la cabeza y que llegó a pensar que ya no podía más.
El llanto constante fue el mayor desgaste
En una entrevista con People en Español, publicada el 3 de diciembre de 2021, Siachoque recordó que las escenas de Hilda exigían volver repetidamente a un estado de tristeza. Según contó, a veces intentaba evitar llorar en una escena, pero el personaje seguía enfrentando situaciones que lo requerían.
«Yo decía “ya no puedo más”, me daba dolor de cabeza a veces de llorar y yo decía “no voy a llorar en esta escena”, pero toda la gente hablaba de “ay pobrecita doña Hilda no ha parado de llorar”, me tocaba llorar, entonces lloraba y lloraba y lloraba, era duro», relató.
Por qué Hilda lloraba tanto
Hilda Santana, el personaje de Siachoque, es presentada por Telemundo como una madre que, junto con Albeiro, intenta proteger a Catalina Marín de los peligros del barrio, incluidos la prostitución y el crimen organizado. La línea amarilla que la pareja pinta frente a su casa representa esa frontera de protección familiar. En ese contexto, el sufrimiento de Hilda no era un momento aislado, sino una parte recurrente de la historia que la actriz debía sostener.

Lo que dijo Siachoque sobre una continuación
La conversación de 2021 también abordó la posibilidad de continuar la saga. Siachoque dijo entonces: «vamos a ver qué dice el señor Gustavo Bolívar [el escritor] si se inspira para hacer otra o no», y preguntó a sus seguidores si querían otra entrega. Esa respuesta reflejaba lo que la actriz sabía en ese momento, no una confirmación de que la historia continuaría.
La situación cambió después: Telemundo anunció en 2026 una nueva entrega con Siachoque de regreso como Hilda Santana. En una nota del 6 de octubre de 2026, la cadena anunció que el estreno estaba programado para el 16 de noviembre de 2026 a las 9PM/8C. Se trata de una fecha de estreno anunciada por Telemundo.
