August 27, 2024, marked the in-game store arrival of the Dead by Daylight Castlevania Collection—not the chapter’s first announcement. The chapter, announced on August 6, added Dracula as a Killer and Trevor Belmont as a Survivor. The later collection announcement focused on crossover outfits, including a Legendary Alucard outfit for Trevor with original voice lines.
What arrived on August 27?
On August 27, 2024, Dead by Daylight announced that its Castlevania Collection was available in the in-game store. The collection expanded the crossover with outfits for the new Castlevania characters and existing Survivors. It followed the chapter announcement of August 6, 2024, which introduced Dracula and Trevor Belmont. The August 27 date therefore refers to the collection’s announcement and store availability at that time, not the chapter’s first reveal. The official collection announcement does not establish whether these outfits remain available in the live store today.
Which Castlevania characters can you play?
Dracula is the Killer
The official Dracula character page lists him as a Killer with a Hard difficulty rating. His power lets him switch between Vampire, Wolf, and Bat forms, each serving a different role:
- Vampire: Dracula can fire a Flaming Pillar forward. The official description says it can travel through obstacles such as pallets and windows.
- Wolf: This form emphasizes tracking. Scratch Marks and Blood Pools become more visible, and running Survivors leave Scent Orbs. The Wolf can also perform a lunging Pounce Attack.
- Bat: This form moves faster, has no Terror Radius, and can teleport to a nearby Vault location.
Dracula’s listed perks are Hex: Wretched Fate, Human Greed, and Dominance. These are the publisher’s descriptions of his abilities, not independent gameplay test results. The August 6 chapter announcement likewise characterizes the Bat as quiet and fast, the Wolf as tracking-oriented, and Dracula’s base form as able to conjure flames.

Trevor Belmont is the Survivor
The official Trevor Belmont character page lists him as a Survivor, with Eyes of Belmont, Exultation, and Moment of Glory as his perks. The page’s lore says he defeated Dracula with the ancestral Vampire Killer whip before being drawn into the Fog.
The chapter page describes the Vampire Killer as “A whip only a Belmont can wield.” It identifies the whip as an exclusive chapter item. The official Castlevania chapter page provides the item description.
