A chart appearance shows popularity, not a song’s birth date. The clearest examples include “Suíte 14,” which topped Deezer Brasil’s 2015 most-played list, and Jorge & Mateus tracks that also ranked highly.
What “turning 10” means for these songs
A song turns ten in 2025 only if its original release date falls in 2015. The available year-end reports document what people in Brazil listened to during 2015; they do not verify original release dates track by track. It is therefore more accurate to treat the songs below as part of Brazil’s 2015 listening landscape, rather than label them all as releases from that year.

Brazil’s 2015 streaming leaders
The annual leaders differed by service, so neither list should be treated as a single definitive national ranking.
| Service and report | What ranked highly | What the result means |

| Deezer Brasil, as reported by Zero Hora in 2015 | “Suíte 14,” by Henrique & Diego, was the most-played song. “Nocaute” and “Os Anjos Cantam,” both by Jorge & Mateus, also appeared in the top ten. | A Deezer Brasil annual popularity ranking, not confirmation of release dates. Zero Hora / GZH, December 28, 2015. |
| Spotify Brasil, reported in 2015 | “Lean On,” by Major Lazer featuring DJ Snake and MØ, led the top ten. The list also included “Sugar,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Uptown Funk,” “Blame,” “Cheerleader,” “See You Again,” “Worth It,” “Love Me Like You Do,” and “Where Are Ü Now.” | A list of popular tracks in Brazil that year; it includes international artists and does not establish which songs were Brazilian releases. Brazilian songs and artists that stood out
“Suíte 14” — Henrique & Diego
“Suíte 14” is a particularly well-supported Brazilian example from the year: Zero Hora reported it as Deezer Brasil’s most-played song of 2015. Spotify’s annual top 100 placed a live version by Henrique & Diego and MC Guimê at number 12, where it was the first entry by Brazilian artists, according to the 2015 Spotify list report. These are distinct chart claims and versions: Deezer’s leader and Spotify’s live recording.

#1 Best Overall
“Nocaute” and “Os Anjos Cantam” — Jorge & Mateus
Both songs appeared in Deezer Brasil’s 2015 top ten. Their chart presence sits alongside the broader prominence of the duo: Zero Hora reported Jorge & Mateus as the most-played artists on both Spotify Brasil and Deezer Brasil in 2015. Spotify’s later retrospective also names them Brazil’s most-listened-to artist that year. The retrospective provides artist-level context, not a song-by-song release chronology. See Spotify’s retrospective and Zero Hora / GZH’s year-end report.
How to read the rankings
- “Most listened to” describes listening activity within a service and period; it is not interchangeable with “released.”
- Deezer Brasil’s reported 2015 leader was “Suíte 14,” while Spotify Brasil’s reported leader was “Lean On.” That difference reflects separate service rankings, not a contradiction to reconcile into one chart.
- When identifying a song, check the version as well as the title. Spotify’s “Suíte 14” entry was a live version credited to Henrique & Diego and MC Guimê; the Deezer report names “Suíte 14” by Henrique & Diego.
Can any of these be called songs that turned ten in 2025?
Not on the basis of these chart reports alone. They establish that particular songs were popular in Brazil during 2015, but do not verify each track’s original release date. A release-date claim requires a reliable date for the specific recording or version being discussed; an annual chart entry is not enough.
