Yes. At his May 13, 2025 concert at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, Arizona, Bob Dylan played “Mr. Tambourine Man” and “A Rainy Night in Soho,” a song by Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan. An eyewitness review describes the Phoenix show as the first night of a new tour.
What Dylan played in Phoenix
The Bob Links setlist archive records “Mr. Tambourine Man” as the concert’s tenth song and “A Rainy Night In Soho” as its thirteenth. It identifies the latter as a song by Shane MacGowan of the Pogues. The archive also notes that Dylan introduced the band before playing it.

Why the show is described as a tour launch
In an eyewitness review, Adam Selzer calls the Phoenix concert “the first night of a new tour.” Selzer describes the “Mr. Tambourine Man” arrangement as new and says he recognized the song after a few piano notes. He also characterizes “Rainy Night in Soho” as a Pogues cover. Those are Selzer’s listening impressions, not official statements or objective technical assessments.

A second eyewitness, Sergi Fabregat Mata, also recounts hearing “Mr. Tambourine Man” in Phoenix in 2025. Selzer writes “First performance since 2010!” and Fabregat Mata calls the interval “almost 15 years”; these are the reviewers’ recollections, not independently established figures in the available sources.

The official Bob Dylan site lists Roger McGuinn performing “Mr. Tambourine Man” on the 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration – Deluxe Edition. That is a separate 1992 tribute-concert performance, not a recording of Dylan’s May 2025 Phoenix show. The official listing documents the release and performer, but does not establish current retail availability.
