What is Reckless about?
Reckless is a darkly comic thriller about June and Charlie, feuding siblings played by Tasma Walton and Hunter Page-Lochard. After they accidentally kill a man in a hit-and-run, they decide to conceal what happened. The four-part series adapts the Scottish thriller Guilt. BBC Studios Productions Australia made it for SBS and NITV. BBC Studios’ announcement describes the production and premise.

How many episodes are there, and who made it?
Screen Australia lists the completed 2025 miniseries as four episodes, each 55 minutes long. Its credits name Kodie Bedford and Stuart Page as writers, Beck Cole as director, and Kodie Bedford and Andrew Walker as producers. Screen Australia’s series listing confirms the episode count, length and credits.
Where was Reckless filmed?
Cameras began rolling in Perth and Fremantle in June 2025. A later Western Australian government case study says the production was shot entirely on location in the two cities. Visit Fremantle identifies local filming spots, including the Cappuccino Strip. It also reports that Hilda’s Records was built for the series, with its bands and artwork created for the production. Is Reckless streaming now?
Visit Fremantle reported on 25 November 2025 that the series was streaming on SBS On Demand. Streaming catalogues can change, and that report does not establish current availability in every territory. Check SBS On Demand for the current listing.
