Burger King France’s “My Flame Academia” promotion featured Deku and Bakugo collector menus, each with a veggie version. It launched in France on September 17, 2024, and ran through October 1 while stocks lasted. The promotion has ended; it was not announced as a global release.
What were the Deku and Bakugo Burger King sandwiches?
They were the character-branded burgers at the center of Burger King France’s limited-time collaboration with My Hero Academia, called “My Flame Academia.” The campaign offered a Deku menu and a Bakugo menu, along with a veggie version of each, according to Burger King France product manager Paul Chauvet’s announcement.
Contemporaneous coverage described chicken, beef, and vegetarian choices, but did not reliably connect each meat recipe to a named character. The available reporting does not establish complete ingredient lists, nutrition figures, prices, or differences in flavor between the two character burgers. Avoid treating unofficial descriptions as confirmed Burger King recipes.
Where and when was the collaboration available?
The promotion was for Burger King restaurants in France. ComicBook.com reported the planned September 17, 2024 launch and noted that no global rollout had been announced at the time. MCE TV / Ouest-France also reported that French restaurants would begin offering it on September 17. Chauvet said the offer ran until October 1, subject to stock.
