The title refers to an August 2012 Broward Palm Beach New Times interview about a woman identified in a later follow-up as Maria Louise Del Rosario. The original interview is not fully available in the surviving source trail, so its partial repost should not be treated as a complete or independently verified account.
What the interview was about
An August 18, 2012 AnandTech Forums post reproduced part of a New Times interview titled “Butt Hole Tattoo Girl, Maria, Speaks: ‘Now My Ass Is Famous Overnight.’” The forum post linked to the original, but the original page could not be accessed. The repost preserves only an excerpt, not the full interview. The AnandTech Forums post is therefore evidence of the headline and partial excerpt, not an independent confirmation of every claim in it.
What the later New Times interview establishes
In a separate interview published August 22, 2012, New Times identified the subject as Maria Louise Del Rosario. Interviewer Jacob Katel asked about her tattoo and ambitions. Del Rosario said she had added a crown-of-thorns design around her anus over two names already tattooed there. That is her account in the interview, not an independently verified biography.
She described the tattoo with a joke: “I put a crown of thorns on my ass, I put it on my asshole cause I know I’m the shit, so forget the red carpet. Just roll out the toilet paper.” The August 22 New Times follow-up is accessible and carries Katel’s byline.

How the tattoo video connects to the event
New Times coverage dated August 13, 2012, placed the associated tattoo video at the 17th South Florida Tattoo Expo, held over the weekend at the Marriott Hotel, Golf Club & Convention Center in Coral Springs. The publication said its video staff filmed a woman receiving an anus tattoo there. The event coverage supplies the setting; it does not establish broader claims about the subject’s life or the video’s reception.
