Life & Style reported that video from the September 24 live show captured Nader and Savchenko kissing briefly as they prepared to take the stage. The outlet also quoted an unnamed source describing the pair’s backstage behavior; those observations were the source’s account, not an official statement from the show or confirmation of a relationship.
Nader explained the moment to Life & Style this way: “We were trying to get into character.” She added: “It’s all about the dancing. It’s all about the performances. We practiced so hard, we had to rehearse. We spend so many hours a day together. We have a great chemistry, great relationship, friendship.” Savchenko praised his partner, saying, “She’s really cool, actually. You haven’t noticed that? She’s really cool.”
Did the kiss mean they were dating?
Not on its own. In a September 26 follow-up, TMZ reported that neither Nader nor Savchenko outright confirmed whether they were dating when asked about the kiss.

A September 27 Us Weekly report attributed the claim that they were “hooking up” to an unnamed source. Nader, meanwhile, said, “I kiss everyone I know,” and described the video kiss as “just a peck.” The private-relationship claim belongs to that source; it was not established by the kiss itself.
What they said later
In an interview discussed by Us Weekly on October 15, Savchenko acknowledged that they had kissed and described the pair as “just hanging out” and “just doing us.” Those later remarks add context to their public comments, but do not turn the earlier backstage footage into proof of a defined relationship.
