The conversation turned to Spears, and Ozzy said he was tired of seeing her dance online. He said, “I’m fed up with seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube. Every fucking day,” then added, “You know, it’s sad. Very, very sad.” Rolling Stone Australia reported the exchange.

Ozzy’s words were a judgment about the videos, not evidence about Spears’s wellbeing. Sharon and Kelly also expressed sympathy in the discussion, but the available account does not attribute Ozzy’s exact criticism to them.
How did Britney Spears respond?
In an Instagram statement reported on July 17, Spears objected to being described as “poor” and pushed back against the family’s judgment. She wrote, “I hardly ever dance,” and, “I’m not poor at all!!!” She also said, “I know what it’s like to be judged,” and ended by saying she planned to tell the Osbourne family to “kindly fuck off!!!” Rolling Stone reported her response.

Spears’s post also criticized the way women are judged online and praised Kate Beckinsale for standing up to critics. The original Instagram post was not independently verified in the cited report, so the wording here is attributed to Spears’s statement as reported there.
Did Ozzy Osbourne apologize?
Yes. On July 30, Ozzy said, “Britney, I really owe you an apology,” and said he was sorry for his comment. He then reiterated his view that she should change some of her dance movements, saying, “Change a few movements.” Rolling Stone reported the apology.
