Where can you watch the performance?
Boone’s official artist channel published “Benson Boone with Special Guest Brian May – Bohemian Rhapsody (Live at Coachella 2025)” on April 14, 2025. The festival also livestreamed Boone’s set through its YouTube coverage, but the official artist-channel video is the specific viewing reference for the collaboration.
What did Brian May say afterward?
The Official International Queen Fan Club’s Summer 2025 magazine reproduced comments May posted on Instagram after the show. He wrote: “And this particular way of concluding Bohemian Rhapsody will be hard to beat in the years to come !!!” In a later message, he said he would treasure the moment on the plane with Boone, called him “a truly golden 22 year old prodigy,” and said they were “now officially pals.”

- Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music & their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury
Where does “Bohemian Rhapsody” fit in Queen’s catalog?
Queen released the original studio recording of “Bohemian Rhapsody” on its 1975 album A Night at the Opera. Queen’s official background feature discusses the album and song, and the official Queen store lists the album on vinyl with “Bohemian Rhapsody” among its tracks. That vinyl is the Queen studio album—not a release of the Coachella performance.
