A July 9, 2024, PEOPLE report said an unnamed source close to the family described Brad Pitt as having “virtually no contact” with his adult children and visitation with his younger children. Those comments were attributed to an unnamed source, not confirmed by a named family member or an official record. The report does not establish the family’s current contact or visitation arrangements.
What the July 2024 report said
PEOPLE, in a story syndicated by Yahoo on July 9, 2024, quoted an unnamed source close to the family saying: “He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule.” The source said Pitt was filming F1 in Europe at the time.
The article also quoted a source describing the arrangement this way: “[Angelina] has the kids most of the time, but per their agreement, he has visitation with the younger kids.” The report did not publish the agreement or give a visitation schedule. These are claims attributed to unnamed sources, not independently verified descriptions of the arrangement. Read the syndicated PEOPLE report at Yahoo.
Who the report meant by “adult” and “younger” children
The labels reflected the children’s ages in July 2024, not a current custody classification. The article identified Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax as adults, and twins Knox and Vivienne as the younger children. The twins, who were 15 at the time, had reached adulthood by 2026, so the report’s distinction should not be carried forward as a present-day description.

Does the report establish the current situation?
No. It is a dated account of what unnamed sources told PEOPLE in July 2024. A June 2026 Geo.tv article repeats the earlier contact claim, but that repetition does not independently confirm current contact or visitation. The available coverage does not establish whether the arrangement changed, what its precise terms were, or what contact occurs now. Geo.tv’s June 2026 coverage concerns Zahara and does not provide a verified update to the visitation arrangement.
