Kylie’s account
Kylie said they talked for three and a half hours about movies, weekend activities, work and career goals. “He was so friendly and warm and we chatted for 31/2 hours. I feel like we could have stayed there chatting for another few hours,” she said.
She also said the conversation felt comfortable right away: “It wasn’t awkward to warm up to each other, straight away it’s like we were on the same level.” Their immediate plan was dinner after work: “He’s picking me up after work and we’re going out for dinner so we’re going on a second date.”

Paul’s account
Paul described Kylie as “a very nice girl, very open and easy to talk to,” adding that “the conversation flowed quite well, and there weren’t really any awkward silences.” He said he appreciated that they were both content being single unless they met the right person: “We’re happy being single so don’t get into something unless it’s the right person, and I really, really liked that.”
He also shared his view of relationships: “I find people get into relationships because they want to be happy whereas relationships should be two happy people coming together. Not someone making you happy.”
