For the shortest manga-centered route through the original Bleach anime, skip episodes the BLEACH Filler List classifies as filler-only and keep its mixed-canon episodes. For the strictest manga-only route, use the manga-canon-only list below—but that means omitting episodes the guide says also contain manga-adapted material. These are a third-party guide’s classifications, not an official studio taxonomy.

Which Bleach episodes can you skip?

The BLEACH Filler List labels the following original-series episodes as filler-only, meaning its guide treats them as anime-original content outside the manga:

  • 33 and 50
  • 64–108
  • 128–137
  • 147–149
  • 168–189
  • 204–205 and 213–214
  • 227–265
  • 287
  • 298–299 and 303–305
  • 311–341
  • 355

Episode classifications can differ among guides. This list is a practical way to streamline a manga-focused watch, not a claim that anime-original episodes are inherently unworthy or must be skipped.

Should you keep mixed-canon episodes?

Usually, yes. The guide marks these episodes as mixed rather than filler-only, indicating that they include manga-adapted material alongside anime-original content. Skipping them may cut story material.

  • 206–207, 209, 222–223
  • 267–268, 274, 276, 285, 288
  • 290–291, 295, 310
  • 342–343, 345, 351

For a manga-centered watch that preserves material the guide identifies as partly manga-based, use the combined list in the next section.

What is the quickest practical watch list?

To retain both manga-canon and mixed-canon episodes, watch these episode ranges from the original series:

  • 1–32, 34–49, 51–63
  • 109–127, 138–146, 150–167
  • 190–203, 206–212, 215–226
  • 266–286, 288–297, 300–302
  • 306–310, 342–354, 356–366

This is the quickest practical route in the BLEACH Filler List for viewers who want the manga story while retaining mixed episodes. The guide counts 203 original-series episodes in this category; that total depends on its classification.

What if you want manga-canon episodes only?

Choose this stricter list if you are willing to leave out mixed episodes as well as filler-only ones. The BLEACH Filler List classifies these episodes as manga-canon-only:

  • 306–309, 344, 346–350, 352–354, 356–366

The guide counts 166 episodes as manga-canon-only. Its count is not an official studio figure, and using this list means accepting the omission of material it labels mixed.

Where does Thousand-Year Blood War fit?

The official BLEACH anime site says the original TV anime began in October 2004, ran for 366 episodes, and is followed by Thousand-Year Blood War, the concluding arc. The BLEACH Filler List numbers the continuation as episodes 367–418 and classifies them as canon. Streaming services may number the continuation by season or part instead, so use the season and part labels shown on your service when you resume.

Are the Bleach movies part of the no-filler watch order?

No. The main episode path above is for following the manga story. Hulu’s Bleach arc-order guide includes four feature films—Memories of Nobody, The DiamondDust Rebellion, Fade to Black, and Hell Verse—and describes them as standalone stories. Treat them as optional extras rather than necessary episodes in this route.

Where can you watch Bleach?

Availability depends on your country and can change. In March 2026, VIZ said more episodes were available to stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States, and on Disney+ in select international territories. Its article also described limited-time YouTube availability during specific campaign windows; those windows are historical, not a standing offer. Check VIZ’s viewing update and your local service listing for current access.

For Thousand-Year Blood War: The Calamity, VIZ’s August 2026 guidance listed weekly streaming on Hulu on Disney+ in the United States and Disney+ internationally. Language options and schedules vary; consult VIZ’s current series update and your service’s local listing.

Can you buy Bleach on Blu-ray?

VIZ lists Bleach Blu-ray editions for viewers who want physical media. The available information does not establish that a particular edition is a filler-free cut, contains every episode, or is compatible with every region. Check the contents and playback compatibility of the specific release before buying.
