Black Clover 2nd Season premiered in Japan on October 3, 2026, and is now airing. Its main trailer was released in July, previewing WANIMA’s opening theme “消えない理由” (“Kienai Riyū”). The new season begins the Spade Kingdom Raid story arc.

Is there a new Black Clover trailer?
Yes. Avex Pictures announced the main trailer on July 5, 2026. It previews “消えない理由” by WANIMA, the season’s opening theme. The Avex Pictures trailer announcement includes the trailer and song details.
What is the new season about?
The season opens the Spade Kingdom Raid storyline. The official synopsis centers on Asta, who has no magic but can wield anti-magic, as he faces the Dark Triad and seeks to recover captured allies. Ayataka Tanemura directs; the June 15 official announcement says he also directed the first anime season and Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King.

Where can you watch Black Clover 2nd Season?
The distributor’s October listing is for Japan, not a worldwide availability guarantee. It says advance streaming began October 4 and general streaming began October 8, 2026. Listed services include Anime Times, Lemino, U-NEXT, Anime Hodai, Amazon Prime Video, ABEMA, Hulu, Disney+, and TVer, among others. Is a Black Clover 2nd Season Blu-ray planned?
Avex has announced a two-disc Blu-ray for March 24, 2027. Listed contents include cast audio commentary, textless opening and ending videos, a booklet, and first-print packaging. How big is the Black Clover franchise?
The official English site states that the manga has sold more than 25 million copies. It also says the series ranked number one in viewership in 87 countries and regions, without specifying a year. The same page describes Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King reaching number two on Netflix’s global weekly Top 10; that ranking is for the film, not the new season.
